Ambulance dressing, with their thicker than standard pad, are for use with severe wounds where there is heavier blood loss.  As the name suggests, they are favoured by the emergency services for their absorbent qualities. Ambulance dressings are available in 4 different sizes, No3 being the second largest – (28 x 20cm)
